Our Story
After hearing the call to provide for Edmonton’s builder market, Bridge Flooring Co. was made.
Aside from their extensive hands-on experience, education, and local Edmonton, Alberta industry knowledge, these two individuals are also outstanding people, community members, and leaders. They share values, attention to detail, and passion for providing quality customer care and workmanship to the builders they serve.
Our Team
Joel Hauer
Joel Hauer started in the flooring industry early on. Realizing his passion for the trade he enrolled at NAIT as a floor covering installer and graduated as a Red Seal Journeyman in 2008. Thereafter he started his own flooring installation business with up to 4 employees working on projects such as the Fantasyland Hotel and countless custom residential homes. Upon understanding his aptitude in management he moved to Icon Flooring in 2014. He had the responsibility of up to 15 installation crews, scheduling, improving quality and implementing standards necessary for customers.
Outside work, you will find Joel spending time with his wife and 3 kids playing a silly game or working on building projects.
Joel continually looks to find “out of the box” solutions and techniques in every scenario and is excited for the new challenges ahead.
John Anderson
John was introduced to the industry, installing many different types of hard surface flooring for roughly 10 years. From there he transitioned into a management role for another 6 years at multiple companies.
Outside of work, you will find John spending time with his family. He has three wonderful children ages 1 year, 4 years, and 5 years old. His family and work have always been his two biggest passions, however, he does love the great outdoors. Looking forward to the future!
